PREACHING THIS MORNING...'An Excellent Wife Is the Crown of Her Husband': Thoughts on Finding a Spouse. The proverb tells us that a prudent wife is from the Lord. God is not neutral on the issue of our spouse. If we care to include Him in the process we will be well rewarded.

By odd coincidence, we had a sermon on much the same topic yesterday evening. Our preacher also discussed how even a "bad" marriage though can be the ground on which we learn the most about the forgiveness, patience and sacrifice exhibited by God for us -- and therefore not a place we get to just give up when it is difficult.
